Refurbishment of Epiroc Boltec
MND Equipment was subcontracted by Cementation to perform a comprehensive refurbishment of an Epiroc Boltec bolter. The unit was serviced at Cementation’s shop facilities, with high-voltage electrical components handled in collaboration with Cementation’s certified electricians.
Scope of Work:
•Initial condition assessment conducted via a detailed Repair Audit performed by Cementation maintenance team
•Mechanical system restoration, including replacement of worn components and servicing of boom and feed systems
•Hydraulic system service: extensive hose and fitting replacements, inspection of cylinders, and testing for leaks
•Structural integrity checks, including frame inspection and bracket reinforcements
•Assistance with component calibration and final functional testing
•Full mechanical reassembly and alignment in collaboration with shop logistics
The Boltec was restored to full operational condition and redeployed to site. The coordinated approach between MND’s mechanical technicians and Cementation’s electrical team allowed for a safe, timely, and high-standard refurbishment.
